This asana taps into the fiery part within and helps to connect to the inherent inner goddess. Tapping into the powerful feminine energy. This pose activates energy centers while stretching and toning the lower body.

This asana can stretch three parts of the body which include: hamstrings, groin and lower back whilst a slight twist to the spine. It's also known to aid in digestion.

This full body asana centers on creating a moment of rest and is a gentle stretch for the back, hips, thighs and ankles.It can help to relieve back pain. It is a foundational yoga posture that reminds us that inaction and "non-doing" can be just as valuable as action and doing.

Jaime attended her first yoga class in 2003. At the time, she was simply looking for some sort of exercise. What she ended up finding was a deeper connection to herself. Through the asanas and vinyasa flow, she experienced a meditation in motion, clearing space to connect within herself. She felt at home on her mat and has been practicing consistently ever since.
Over the years, she has had many amazing teachers and through her many teachers has found what resonates most for herself, Bhakti. Bhakti Yoga is a path of love, devotion, service, truth and gratitude. These principles have guided and inspired her through yoga which she strives to practice both on and off the mat. Jaime hopes to share what she has found through this practice. Her intention for teaching is to create a supportive space to explore and connect, where one is invited to find balance, joy, healing and connection with mind, body and heart.
Jaime is currently and has consistently taught weekly yoga and meditation classes at Yoga Sanctuary along with monthly workshops. She also teaches chair yoga to kids, adolescents and adults at a treatment center in Las Vegas.
Jaime was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV where she currently resides. She completed her 200 hour training in January of 2015 and then completed her 300 hour training in May of 2019 which gives her 500 hours of accredited training with Yoga Alliance. She is a Reiki Master. She continues to do continuing education in many modalities including yin & restorative yoga, trauma yoga, anatomy of emotion, yoga anatomy & alignment and mindfulness meditation. She certified in Qigong Infused Yoga, Vibrational Sound Healing and a Reiki Master.

Michelle Sanchez is a Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Reiki Practitioner, Certified Sound Bath Practitioner, and Cacao Ceremonialist. A nurturer by nature, she creates supportive spaces where students can slow down, reconnect, and cultivate balance. Her intention is for every student to leave class feeling a deeper sense of Zen Within.
